Mtarfa Primary is situated in Sir A. Fremantle Street, close to the Mtarfa clock tower. The school building, which was used as the officers’ mess during British rule, has two storeys surrounding a quaint internal courtyard with magnificent architecture. The big classrooms enjoy lovely views of Mdina and the countryside. There are two small halls, a staff room, a waiting room, a music room, a library, an English language centre, a PSD room, an art room, a science room, a clinic, a guidance room and a kitchenette. The school also has a playground and a nature area.
